Google-Löscher: Deutschland auf Rang 2

Google hat ein neues Tool online gestellt: Government Requests. Das Tool zeigt an, welche Länder in 2009 wie oft Userinformationen angefordert haben bzw. Inhalte gelöscht haben wollten.

Überraschung: Bei den Löschanfragen liegt Deutschland auf Rang 2. Nach Brasilien. Und ein ziemliches Stück vor Indien und den USA.

94 Prozent der Anfragen wurden auch umgesetzt. Das Gros davon bezog sich auf Suchergebnisse und YouTube-Videos. Nur offizielle Anfragen wurden gezählt, also keine privaten Urheber-Anfragen, kopierte YouTube-Filme vom Netz zu nehmen.

Warum sind das bei uns so viel mehr als anderenorts?
