A (hopefully) clearer layout for Verfassungsblog

Every website needs an overhaul from time to time. So does Verfassungsblog. We have altered some things in order to keep the site clear and navigable while the number of articles rises.

Three things are new:

First of all, the web site of the research project „Verfassungsblog: Perspektiven der Wissenschaftskommunikation in der Rechtswissenschaft“ is now displayed more prominently.

Secondly, we have tried to make the navigation leaner. The menu is now on top, the list of our authors on the right, and the search button that drove us crazy so often now works perfectly fine (knock on wood…).

Thirdly, we have tried to make sure that the visibility of an article doesn’t depend exclusively on the time of its appearance any more. For that reason we will be able to place articles we consider particularly relevant as a “lead story” on top, much like we already do with series, symposia and focus issues. Also, news articles will be listed as such, in order to enable readers to see at one glance what is new in the exciting world of constitutional law.
