Igor Popović is a Senior Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Law (International Law Department). He holds LL.M. from the University of Belgrade and he is a PhD candidate at the same university. In spring 2024, he was a guest researcher at the Academy for European Human Rights Protection.

The recent Grand Chamber decision in Kovačević v. Bosnia and Herzegovina might send shockwaves through the legal and political landscape in Bosnia and Herzegovina or even across Council of Europe states, as Professor Joseph Marko suggests in his article.
