Virgílio Alfonso da Silva

Virgílio Afonso da Silva is Professor of Law at the University of São Paulo, where he teaches constitutional law, human rights, constitutional theory and political and electoral systems. He has been visiting fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Comparative Public Law and International Law, in Heidelberg, and at the Humboldt University, in Berlin. He was member of the scientific board of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and is member of the scientific board of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
