Andrew Forde

Dr. Andrew Forde is a Visiting Fellow at the Irish Centre for Human Rights (University of Galway) and author of  European Human Rights Grey Zones: The Council of Europe and Areas of Conflict (Cambridge University Press, 2024). Dr Forde worked for more than 10 years with the Council of Europe and the OSCE including as a human rights advisor and political advisor, much of which was spent focused on human rights protection in conflict and post-conflict contexts. He is a Commissioner on the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission but his comments are strictly in his individual capacity.
