Ekkehard Strauß

Prof. Dr. Ekkehard Strauß is Professor of Public Law, in particular Fundamental and Human Rights, at Faculty 5 (Police and Security Management) of the HWR Berlin and teaches and researches mainly on international human rights protection and international conflict management. Before his appointment in October 2020, he worked in various positions in international organisations, including a total of more than 20 years at the United Nations, including in Africa, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, as well as at UN headquarters in New York and Geneva.
