Keine Todesstrafe mehr in Japan?

Das sind doch mal uneingeschränkt gute Nachrichten: Japans neue Justizministerin wird Keiko Chiba, eine ausgesprochene Gegnerin der Todesstrafe. In Japan muss der Justizminister jedes Todesurteil gegenzeichnen. Daher gibt es gute Hoffnung, dass die 102 japanischen Todeskandidaten so schnell nicht hingerichtet werden.
