Transnational Justice meets Global Constitutionalism
Last monday I had the priviledge to moderate a roundtable discussion at Hamburg University among Rainer Forst and four of the five editors of the journal Global Constitutionalism - Antje Wiener, James Tully, Anthony Lang and Mattias Kumm - about Forst's theory of transnational justice in the context of global constitutionalism. Am Montag hatte ich das Privileg, in Hamburg einen Roundtable zu moderieren, an dem Rainer Forst sowie vier der fünf Herausgeber der Zeitschrift Global Constitutionalism Platz genommen hatten. Es ging um Forsts Theorie transnationaler Gerechtigkeit im Kontext globaler Konstitutionalisierung. How the Romanian government wants to “improve” the Constitution
Last year the Romanian governing coalition failed to unseat the President in a referendum because of a too low voter turn-out and the resistance of the Constitutional Court. Now it prepares for a second attempt and aims to customize the constitution to that end. Advisory Opinions: More Cases for the Already Overburdened Strasbourg Court
